Warmer weather forecasted for northern region
(VNF) - Cold spell, scattered rainfall and fog are what have been making the Hanoians feel uncomfortable recently.
Hanoi has experienced a new cold snap with drizzle, causing certain difficulties for life of local residents, particularly low visibility and traffic jam.
The unfavourable weather worsened traffic congestion in many streets, due the the increase use of cars and taxis, which creates a gridlock.
The whole northern region will continue facing the cold and rainy weather until December 30
In the next three days, Hanoi’s temperature will be 16-19 degrees centigrade during the day, while Sapa Town in Lao Cai Province will see 11-14 degrees centigrade during the day and 7-10 degrees centigrade at night.
According to the National Centre for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting, the whole northern region will continue facing the cold and rainy weather until December 30. Some north western localities will see heavy rains.
