| At the workshop, World Vision representatives shared the IMPACT model and the Head–Hand–Heart approach, which focuses on knowledge, skills and values to promote young people's participation, leadership and capacity for action. Practical experiences from child-led initiatives and child-centred programmes also offered useful insights into how children, particularly girls, can take a more active role in contributing to their communities. World Vision International in Vietnam believes that when girls are heard, equipped with knowledge and given opportunities to participate, they can not only speak up on issues affecting them but also become agents of positive change in their schools and communities. |
