16 junior football teams in Ho Chi Minh city played at “Lotteria Challenge Cup 2015”
(VNF) - As many as 16 junior football teams in Ho Chi Minh city have participated the qualifying round of "Lotteria Challenge Cup 2015" from September 5th-6th at Hoa Lu sports centre.
This is an annual football tournament for children held by Lotteria Vietnam in collaboration with General Department of Sports and Physical Training and Vietnam Football Federation.
Teams were pided into groups with 32 matches. Finally, the best two teams Kidstar FC and Vo Thi Sau primary school won tickets to the final round in Hanoi which is scheduled to kick off on October 10th.
Former striker Tran Minh Chien of the national football squad also attended the event, sharing his passion for football with young football-players, encouraging them to promote solidarity and sense of discipline to shine in this educational playground.
So far, "Lotteria Challenge Cup" has become an exciting and familiar playground for Vietnamese children who love football, leading to the formation of many junior football teams in big cities. Thanks to that, many young football talent was discovered and retrained to become a future star for the king sport in the nation./.
