20 best movies to be screened in 19th Vietnam Film Week
The Cinematography Department under the Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism on November 14th announced that Vietnamese film week is scheduled to take place in Hanoi and Da Nang on December 1st- 5th to mark the 19th Vietnam Film Festival.
During five - day event, as many as 20 best Vietnamese movies will be screened for free. The organization board has selected the films out of the best entries from 16 film producers to join in the Film Festival.
As scheduled, a film named 'Cuoc doi cua Yen' (Life of Yen) by director Dinh Tuan Vu will be screened at the opening ceremony in Hanoi. Meanwhile, ‘Nguoi tro ve’ (The Returned) by director Dang Thai Huyen will be introduced at the opening ceremony in the central coastal city of Da Nang.
Besides, meaningful films will be also screened during the festival such as 'Toi thay hoa vang tren co xanh' (I saw the golden flowers on the green grass), 'Dap canh giua khong trung' (Flapping in the Middle of Nowhere) and others./.
