On April 25, Nguyen Trung Kien, Chairman of the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs, led a delegation of 60 distinguished overseas Vietnamese from 20 countries and territories worldwide to offer incense in commemoration of the Hung Kings at the Hung Kings Temple Historical Relic Site and to hold a working session with Phu Tho Province.

On April 22, at the Gia Lai Provincial Conference Center (Quy Nhon Ward), the Gia Lai Union of Friendship Organizations solemnly held its first Congress for the 2026-2031 term. The Congress elected the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, and the Inspection Committee for the 2026-2031 term. Le Kim Toan was elected President of the Gia Lai Union of Friendship Organizations for the 2026-2031 term.

The Hai Phong Union of Friendship Organizations, in coordination with the Tzu Chi Foundation and relevant partners, recently organized a program to award 700 scholarships to students from disadvantaged backgrounds in the western area of the city.

This figure was announced at a regular meeting held on March 4 by the Steering Committee of the project “Promoting Gender Equality through Enhancing the Economic Efficiency of Agricultural Production and Tourism Development in Lao Cai Province” (the Australia-funded GREAT 2 Lao Cai Project). The meeting aimed to review implementation progress, discuss the Year 3 activity plan, and propose budget allocations for several sub-projects.
