Battery Dance Company artists teach dance for Hue students
The Battery Dance Company from the US taught free dance to students at the College of Culture and Arts in Thua Thien - Hue province from October 4th – 7th.
This was a part of the activities within the framework of the 20th anniversary of Vietnam-US diplomatic ties.
Five artists including Robin Cantrell, Mira Cook, Clement Mensah, Bethany Mitchell and Sean Scantlebury taught dance lesions for 80 students from the College of Culture and Arts, universities and colleges in Thua Thien - Hue province.
The students had a chance to learn the basic techniques of contemporary dance, ballet and hip-hop.
The artists from the Battery Dance Company will teach advanced techniques for teachers from the College of Culture and Arts on October 8th.
The artists are scheduled to perform free for tourists at the Duyet Thi Duong Royal Theatre and the province’s Culture and Information Centre on October 9th-10th./.
