Belarus Friendship Association, WWF-Vietnam Congratulate Vietnam on the 80th National Day
In her congratulatory letter to President of the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations Phan Anh Son, N. S. Ivanova, Chairwoman of the Belarus Association for Friendship and Cultural Exchange with Foreign Countries, wrote:
“The Belarusian Society of Friendship and Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries, the Belarus-Vietnam Friendship Association, together with numerous friends of Vietnam in Belarus, respectfully extend our heartfelt congratulations to you and to the entire people of Vietnam on this significant occasion - the 80th anniversary of the country’s independence.”
She affirmed that this event is a vivid testament to the extraordinary spiritual strength, indomitable will, and courage of the Vietnamese people in their struggle for freedom, development, and prosperity. Over the past 80 years, Vietnam has made remarkable achievements in economic and social development, science and technology, and innovation, while affirming its worthy position in the international community.
Ivanova expressed deep respect for the longstanding friendship between the peoples of the two countries and the cooperation among friendship associations, emphasizing that the Belarus Association for Friendship and Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries, together with the Belarus-Vietnam Friendship Association, have always strived to promote Vietnam - a country rich in historical and cultural traditions - to the people of Belarus.
“We are proud of Vietnam’s achievements and successes, of your nation’s growth and prosperity,” she wrote.

She also wished the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations continued success in its noble mission of contributing to peace, cooperation, and friendship, while expressing her hope that the friendship between the two peoples will grow ever stronger.
“The 80th anniversary of the independence of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam is not only a reminder of glorious victories in the past but also a driving force for new successes in the future.”
On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 – September 2, 2025), WWF also extended its warmest congratulations and deepest sentiments to the Government of Vietnam, ministries, sectors, and the entire Vietnamese people.
WWF expressed pride in accompanying Vietnam in its efforts to protect natural resources, develop sustainable agriculture, respond to climate change, and promote green growth. The letter emphasized:
“The close and effective cooperation between the Government of Vietnam and ministries with WWF in recent years has been a valuable foundation for us to continue working hand in hand towards the goal of sustainable development. Vietnam’s achievements over the past 80 years not only affirm the will, resilience, and intelligence of the nation but also serve as a strong source of inspiration for international friends.”
WWF-Vietnam expressed its profound gratitude to the Government and ministries for their consistent support in enabling the organization to fulfill its mission of ‘People living in harmony with nature,’ while reaffirming its commitment to continue close cooperation and contribute its utmost for a green, prosperous, and sustainable future for Vietnam.
