Deputy Minister Nguyen Minh Vu briefed the Chairwoman of the Belaya Rus Party of Belarus on the new goals and key contents of the Communist Party of Vietnam’s domestic and foreign policies following the 14th National Congress, as well as Vietnam’s consolidation of a new leadership lineup of the Party and State headed by General Secretary and State President To Lam.
Both sides noted that Vietnam-Belarus relations have continued to develop positively in recent years, especially after the two countries established a Strategic Partnership framework in 2025, opening up broader opportunities for deeper cooperation across multiple fields.
Political trust between the two countries has been further strengthened through high-level visits and exchanges, along with close coordination at international and regional forums. This is seen as an important foundation for promoting more substantive and effective bilateral cooperation.

Regarding economic cooperation, both sides agreed to continue effectively tapping into the potential and complementarity of their economies, promoting trade and investment, and creating favorable conditions for businesses of both countries to enhance connectivity. Areas identified as having significant potential for cooperation include industry, agriculture, energy, science and technology, and logistics.
The two sides also emphasized the need to improve the effectiveness of existing cooperation mechanisms, particularly the Vietnam-Belarus Intergovernmental Committee, while promoting the implementation of signed agreements and expanding cooperation into new areas such as digital transformation, innovation, and high technology.
In the field of people-to-people exchanges, both countries will continue to promote cooperation in culture and education, facilitate travel, and strengthen connections between friendship organizations. The Vietnamese community in Belarus is regarded as an important bridge contributing to reinforcing the social foundation of bilateral relations.
Both sides agreed to maintain close coordination at multilateral forums, support each other on issues of mutual concern, and contribute to peace, stability, and development in the region and the world.
On this occasion, Nguyen Minh Vu conveyed regards and best wishes from the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam and from Politburo member and Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung to the Chairwoman of the Belaya Rus Party of Belarus.
