The seminar, jointly held by the Embassy of Belgium and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, aims to look at the results and prospects that Belgian partners - governmental, businesses and academics - can offer to the Vietnamese agricultural sector.
Belgium’s Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Dirk Achten, who will be conducting an working visit to Viet Nam from November 22-24, will deliver opening remarks at the seminar where participants will discuss innovative agriculture and sustainable food production in Viet Nam.
Being proud to have contributed to the development of Viet Nam over the past four decades through development cooperation and investments in various sectors, the Belgian Embassy organizes the event as a part of the 2017 Joint Economic Commission between Belgium and Viet Nam.
It showcases the ways in which the Belgium-Viet Nam partnership can help tackle agricultural challenges.
