A book fair titled “Past and present book” will open at 9a.m on April 17th and run until April 21st at Thong Nhat Park in Hanoi.

A book fair titled “Past and present book” will open at 9a.m on April 17th and run until April 21st at Thong Nhat Park in Hanoi.

The event will feature around 150 booths showcasing tens of thousands of book titles by over 100 publishing houses and printing companies nationwide to mark the second Vietnam Book Day (April 21st).

The publications are of various genres and include children’s books, books on literature, economics, science and technology, e-books and books in foreign languages. They will be sold at discounted prices for visitors.

There will be 30 seminars, exchanges and talks with the participation of researchers and managers during the event.

The book fair will make a great contribution to build and promote the book-reading movement toward a more studious society and glorify the value of books in social life./.
