He noted that exchange activities such as this not only help enhance mutual understanding among journalists from different countries but also create opportunities to promote the image of Vietnam in general and Hai Phong City in particular to international friends.

Nakorn Veerapavati, President of the Confederation of Thai Journalists, remarked that Hai Phong is increasingly affirming its role as a leading industrial, logistics, and seaport hub in the region. He highly appreciated the city’s warm hospitality as well as its efforts to foster connections among media agencies, government bodies, and the business community. Beyond learning about the investment environment and business operations, the visit also provided international journalists with an opportunity to explore the economy, culture, and people of Hai Phong. Stories of the city’s remarkable transformation, its distinctive cultural values, and the innovative spirit of the business community left many positive impressions on the visitors.

The exchange program took place in an open and friendly atmosphere, serving as a bridge for journalists, policymakers, and the business community to discuss their professions, cooperation opportunities, social responsibilities, and shared values that transcend geographical and linguistic boundaries. Through such exchange activities, the image of Vietnam and its people in general, and Hai Phong City in particular, continues to be widely promoted to international friends, thereby contributing to greater mutual understanding, cooperation, and friendship between Vietnam and other countries in the region.

This was also one of the meaningful external relations activities held on the sidelines of the National Press Festival 2026. Together with professional forums, thematic seminars, and expert exchanges, the program helped strengthen connections between domestic media agencies and journalists and their international counterparts, thereby promoting media cooperation and spreading the positive values of journalism in an era of integration.
