In addition to the theoretical sessions, the delegation from Sekong Province will make field visits to several agricultural production models, including a mushroom cultivation model in Ba Na Commune and a garden economy and agroforestry model in Tien Phuoc Commune.

Through the program, the technical officials from Sekong Province will have more opportunities to access scientific and technological advances, exchange experience in production organization, and learn from practical production models. This provides a basis for them to study and apply suitable practices in line with local conditions, with a view to promoting efficient and sustainable agricultural development.

According to the leadership of Da Nang City's Agricultural Extension Center, the training course is a concrete activity implementing cooperation between the two localities, contributing to strengthening solidarity and friendship while promoting professional exchanges in the agricultural sector.

Earlier, agricultural cooperation between Vietnam and Laos continued to be promoted at the sectoral level. A delegation from Laos' Ministry of Agriculture and Environment paid a working visit to the Vietnam Academy of Agricultural Sciences (VAAS). During the visit, VAAS and the National Agriculture and Forestry Research Institute (NAFRI) of Laos signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

The Memorandum of Understanding lays a foundation for the two sides to build on promoting cooperation in scientific research, staff exchanges, and scientific information sharing, while coordinating the development and implementation of cooperative programs and projects, thereby contributing to improving the effectiveness of agricultural research and development in both Vietnam and Laos.
