Delegates to the 50th anniversary of the Paris Peace Accord visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum

In the morning of January 13, 2023, foreign delegates to activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Paris Peace Accord on ending the war and restoring peace in Vietnam (January 27, 1973 - January 1, 2023) visit the Mausoleum to pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh.

The visit was attended by Phan Anh Son, VUFO's Vice President - Secretary General, leaders and staff of VUFO's departments and units, and nearly 30 foreign delegates to activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Paris Peace Accord about Vietnam.

The delegates, coming from 13 countries, represent The World Peace Council, the International Association of Democratic Lawyers, the Women's International Democratic Federation, the All India Peace and Solidarity Organisation, the Cambodia-Vietnam Friendship Association, the Laos-Vietnam Friendship Association, the France-Vietnam Friendship Association, Sweden Solidarity Committee with Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia,...

With boundless gratitude, the delegation respectfully commemorated the great merits of President Ho Chi Minh. The delegation's wreath says "Respect to President Ho Chi Minh - International delegation attending activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Paris Agreement".

After paying tribute, the delegates visited President Ho Chi Minh's relic site and listened to explanations about his life and career.

According to the schedule, also on the morning of January 13, the delegates attended the program "Friendship meeting of the Paris Peace Accord 1973 - Memories and Ways Forward". In the afternoon of the same day, the Vietnamese State President will meet with international friends on the 50th anniversary of the Paris Peace Accord.

As part of the series of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Paris Peace Accord, the delegates will plant trees of peace at Hoa Binh Park (Bac Tu Liem, Hanoi); visit the "Aspirations for Peace" exhibition; attend the 50th Anniversary of the signing of the Paris Peace Accord.

This is an opportunity for Vietnam to show gratitude for the solidarity and support of international friends for the struggle for national liberation and reunification and the present-day national construction, and convey the image of Vietnam, a country that is faithful and loyal to friends over the world; a friend, a reliable partner and a responsible member of the international community.
