The initiative is being carried out in Quang Phu Ward and seven neighboring communes and wards, namely Tam Xuan, Phu Ninh, Tay Ho, Chien Dan, Huong Tra, Tam Ky and Ban Thach. More than 500 relatives of fallen soldiers are expected to provide DNA samples. This is not merely a professional task but also one of profound humanitarian significance, demonstrating the responsibility of authorities at all levels, relevant sectors and the People's Public Security force in searching for and identifying heroes who sacrificed their lives for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland. Each DNA sample collected represents a valuable source of information that will support the comparison and identification of fallen soldiers, while offering renewed hope to families who have waited for years for the opportunity to find their loved ones.

With a strong sense of responsibility, dedication and determination, Quang Phu Ward Police and the coordinating units are making every effort to carry out this mission, helping apply science and technology to gratitude initiatives and uphold the Vietnamese nation's traditional values of “When drinking water, remember its source” and “When eating fruit, remember who planted the tree.” Restoring the identities of fallen heroes is not simply a search for information; it is also a journey of reconnecting loved ones, easing the pain of loss and honoring those who laid down their lives for the Fatherland.
