The Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has announced the “Top 100 Da Nang touchpoints” program for 2026. Launched in April 2026, the initiative received more than 1,500 nominations from residents, tourists and businesses.

Based on more than 42,000 votes, the list connects local cultural and natural assets into a variety of travel experiences, ranging from heritage sites and craft villages to cuisine and ecological attractions.

The destinations are divided into six categories: Identity, Taste, Pristine Nature, Tranquility, Moments and Everyday Life. Featured locations include Hoi An Ancient Town, the My Son Sanctuary, Tra Que Vegetable Village, Thanh Ha Pottery Village, Son Tra Peninsula, Cu Lao Cham and Phu Ninh Lake. In addition to heritage sites and natural landscapes, the list highlights local cuisine, community activities and experiences associated with the daily lives of fishing communities.

One of the program’s key objectives is to connect destinations into themed itineraries rather than promote each location independently. At Loc Yen Ancient Village, visitors can explore traditional architecture, local crafts and regional cuisine, while Bai Say - Song Dam offers experiences centered on waterways and natural ecosystems.

Following the administrative boundary merger, Da Nang has gained a broader tourism development area encompassing urban centers, coastal areas, heritage regions, rural villages and mountainous areas. Developing interconnected tourism routes is expected to distribute visitors more widely, diversify tourism products and encourage longer stays.

The list of 100 tourism touchpoints provides a foundation for the city’s tourism sector to develop itineraries exploring heritage, traditional crafts, cuisine and ecotourism. These efforts aim to unlock more of the region’s cultural, natural and local community values.
