The list of music stars performing at the 2^nd ASEAN-Japan Music Festival 2018 has been announced online with Vietnamese singer, Dong Nhi, among the names who will light up the October event.

Vietnam Television chose Dong Nhi to take part in the event as recognition of her contributions to the Vietnamese music scene in recent years. Previously, in 2014, My Linh represented Vietnam at the first festival which marked the 40^th anniversary of ASEAN-Japan Friendship and Cooperation.

Dong Nhi says she will perform two special songs at the festival, which will draw many Asian stars such as Ryuji Imaichi, Ryotaro Sugi, and Nogizaka46 from Japan, Sarah Hieronimo from the Philippines, and a variety of singers from Singapore, Myanmar, Indonesia, Cambodia, and Brunei.

This year, the festival will take place in NHK Hall, Tokyo on October 4^th to mark the 45^th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Japan and ASEAN.

Dong Nhi has participated in many international exchanges held in Vietnam. She gave an impressive performance at the Asian Song Festival in the Republic of Korea last year.

In 2017, Dong Nhi and actress Ngo Thanh Van were listed among Top 50 Most Influential Women selected by Forbes.
