Viet Nam-Russia Friendship Association: External Communications Amplified Through Practical Actions
	Enhancing Educational Cooperation, Promoting Vietnam-Russia Friendship

At the conference, delegates reviewed and assessed the results achieved by the Viet Nam-Russia Friendship Association of Thanh Hoa province in 2025. According to the report, during 2025 the association regularly coordinated in communication and information dissemination on guidelines, orientations, foreign relations, and cooperation policies between the two countries in the fields of economy, culture, tourism, and others.

The association’s leadership participated in working sessions with the Standing Committee and Executive Committee of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations, contributing opinions on directions for the activities of member associations under the current situation of the Union; and organized activities to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Viet Nam and the Russian Federation. It also coordinated with relevant agencies to organize cultural exchanges and seminars on “Friendship” among twinned associations.

In addition to traditional activities such as meetings, exchanges, and mutual visits, each year the Viet Nam-Russia Friendship Association of Thanh Hoa province also serves as a bridge connecting people from Thanh Hoa living in Russia with people in their homeland, and as a forum for members to exchange and learn from experience, encourage one another, and promote economic development.

Member sub-branches proactively visited and encouraged one another in daily life, and organized group and sub-branch trips and tours, helping to further strengthen bonds among members.

At the conference, delegates discussed orientations, objectives, and plans for 2026, including: actively participating in activities organized by the Thanh Hoa Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations; organizing commemorative activities, seminars, and talks to enhance mutual understanding among associations; continuing to consolidate and strengthen the association’s organization and executive committee, and develop new members; considering the establishment of additional sub-branches in other units across the province if conditions permit. At the same time, efforts will be made to further promote close, friendly cooperative relations as well as solidarity and mutual support among members.

On this occasion, the Central Viet Nam-Russia Friendship Association awarded Certificates of Merit to five sub-branches under the Viet Nam-Russia Friendship Association of Thanh Hoa province; Thanh Hoa Union of Friendship Organizations awarded Certificates of Commendation to the Viet Nam-Russia Friendship Association of Thanh Hoa province; and the Viet Nam-Russia Friendship Association of Thanh Hoa province awarded Certificates of Commendation to five sub-branches for their active contributions to Viet Nam-Russia people-to-people diplomacy in 2025.
