Fashion shows will feature 300 fashion models, including top models Thanh Hang and Hoang Thuy, in the latest collections, with different themes about life and love, by talented designers.
The models will wear ao dai (Vietnamese traditional dress) designed by Thuan Viet, Truong Thanh Hai, Ha Nhat Tien and Tuan Tran.
Music and song performances will feature young singers and dancers from leading traditional art troupes in the region, and electronic music and light performances will also be highlighted.
The festival will debut on October 20th to celebrate Vietnamese Women’s Day before more than 10,000 visitors. It is expected to attract more than 200,000.
The department has spent VND 30 billion (USD1.3 million) on the festival.
“We will organise Fashionology Festival every year to promote the city’s tourist activities,” said a representative of the department./.
