Flag at Half-mast for State Funeral of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong in Truong Sa

On the occasion of Vietnamese Family Day (June 28), stories from households in the Truong Sa Special Zone highlight how family bonds on these remote islands extend far beyond individual homes. They are strengthened by comradeship, solidarity between the military and civilians, and mutual support, providing a firm foundation for both soldiers and residents as they safeguard the nation's maritime frontier.

During their voyage on Ship 936, the long-distance sea training delegation from the Naval Academy visited officers, soldiers, and civilians on several islands in the Truong Sa Special Zone (Khanh Hoa province). At each destination, the heartfelt and warm encounters with the military and local residents in this remote area left a profound impression on officers and trainees. These experiences deepened their understanding of the steadfast will and indomitable spirit of those who are tirelessly safeguarding the sacred sovereignty of the Fatherland.

Permanent Deputy Foreign Minister Nguyen Minh Vu called on States Parties to continue implementing UNCLOS fully and effectively, and to support the work of institutions established under the Convention.

The Naval Academy, in coordination with the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Information, Education and Mass Mobilization, held a communication session on Vietnam’s seas and islands at the Provincial Party Committee’s Reporters’ Conference on the morning of June 10.
