Flashback of ASEAN cuisine festival 2017
(VNF) - The ASEAN Cuisine Festival 2017 (Phnom Penh, Cambodia) concluded successfully on April 2.
The 2-day event was conducted by the French non-govermental organization Pour une sourire d'enfant (PSE), sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of Cambodia.
The festival, which brought together over 10,000 visitors, was a platform for people in ASEAN learn about one another's cultures, and mutually support the development of tourism in the region.

According to PSE, the proceeds of the festival will go to support vocational training program on ASEAN Tourism.
This year, the festival brought to food lovers over 70 authentic dishes from ASEAN countries, along with a variety of cultural performances.
The Vietnam Embassy in Cambodia took the opportunity to promote Vietnamese culinary arts by presenting to Cambodian friends and international guests well-known dishes, including: Vietnamese noodles (phở), fried spring roll (nem rán), steamed rice pancake (bánh cuốn).
Furthermore, visitors to the Vietnam's pavilions were also briefed about Vietnam's heritages such as Phong Nha Cave, Ha Long Bay.
Vietnamese students in Cambodia brought to audience at the festival charming dance performance themed "Vietnam - my homeland"(Việt Nam quê hương tôi) in traditional conical leaf hat and long dress./.
