On Nov. 15, Good Neighbors International (GNI) donated medical supplies worth more than VND 110 million (US $4,765) to 14 schools in Hoa Binh city, Hoa Binh province. The gifts included nearly 3500 boxes of medical masks, 300 bottles of antiseptic water and 14 infrared thermometers.
The Covid-19 pandemic is still very dangerous in Vietnam, so wearing a mask, checking the temperature as well as regularly disinfecting hands are necessary measures at schools to limit the spread of disease.
With the support of masks, sanitizers, and electronic thermometers, GNI wishes to ensure the safety of Hoa Binh students when going to school and raise awareness of the implementation of regulations on coronavirus prevention and control.
In the context of the Covid-19 outbreaks, ensuring the safety of students when going back to school are extremely important. New demands on school funds are emerging as schools, whether in person or virtually, try to make up for lost learning time and address the needs of their students.
At the donation event, students from each school received the gifts on behalf of the teachers, classmates, and staff. They sent thanks to the GNI for always accompanying and sharing difficulties with the people and Hoa Binh health sector in the face of the complicated disease situation.
