The project has a total implementation capital of over 9.3 billion VND, with more than 7.5 billion VND (equivalent to 300,000 USD) provided by the IFRC as non-refundable aid, and over 1.8 billion VND as local counterpart capital. The project will be implemented from November 2024 to November 2027 in Thang Binh district, Quang Nam province.
This initiative aims to support the construction of new fishing boats for fishermen in Thang Binh district, Quang Nam province. The boats, designed with wooden hulls, have dimensions of Lmax: 24.50m, Bmax: 7.25m, and D: 3.20m, with a total main engine capacity of 822 CV (horsepower) powered by a single engine.
