Japanese Cultural Fair 2018 sets for March
(VNF) - The Japanese Cultural Fair 2018 in celebration of the 45th anniversary of Japan – Vietnam diplomatic relations will take place in Hanoi from March 23rd.

A much-anticipated Japanese cherry blossom tree showcase, located at Ly Thai To Park, will be the highlight of the event. About 10,000 cherry blossom branches and 30 trees will be on display, together with other ornamental trees and flowers of Vietnam and Hanoi.
Other cultural activities will take place at the octagonal house inside Ly Thai To Park, including Japanese tea ceremony, go & shogi (board games), and kendama (a traditional toy) demonstrations…. About 20 food stalls presenting Japan and Vietnam’s traditional dishes will be installed at the Hanoi Children’s Palace.
Japanese Yosakoi dance performances will take place on Dinh Tien Hoang and Ly Thai To streets, as well as traditional singing and dancing performances of north Vietnam such as ca trù (an ancient genre of Vietnam’s chamber music), hát xẩm (a type of Vietnamese folk music), múa bồng (a traditional Vietnamese dance),…
The cultural fair will last until March 26th at Ly Thai To Park and Hanoi Children’s Palace./.
