Japanese culture introduced in HCM City

Visitors to a Japanese cultural festival, Artist day x Japan 7, which will be held in HCM City on October 21 will experience the sun-rise nation’s traditional and modern culture through music, cuisine, history and tourism.

They can enjoy many different kinds of unique things attached to Japanese through an array of activities such as a workshop on Japanese traditional culture, an introduction to a tea ceremony, savouring wagashi, folding papercraft – origami, and making onigiri & makizushi.

Artist day x Japan 7 will also include an art exhibition and performances of Japanese yasakoi traditional dance, Kendo martial arts and J-pop. In addition, special products from Japan such as hina dolls, paper-craft, and origami as well as folk games like kingyo sukui, bingo, mizu yoyo, katanuki, igo, karuta, omikuji, and fukuwarai will be on show at the festival.

A painting session is also a highlight of the event with the participation of young Vietnamese painters who will display and sell unique works./.
