The train can be a meeting place for tourists from all over the world, for them to enjoy meals, and to rest in the rhythm of wheels. It can lead closer to the true beauty of the country.

Train routes are slow travel journeys that open opportunities to experience culture, nature and people in a very distinct way, Lonely Planet noted.

Previously, in January 2025, Thong Nhat train was also ranked 3rd in the list of 9 most desirable railways in the world in 2025 proposed by Björn Bender, CEO of Rail Europe, Europe's leading company for train services.

In the list are famous train routes from all over the world such as California Zephyr (USA), Lake Titicaca (Peru), Beijing - Lhasa Express (China), TranzAlpine (New Zealand), Bergensbanen (Norway)... the growing attraction of train travel shows that more and more tourists are interested in exploring the world in a more sustainable and with more in-depth approach.
