A flashmob featuring 150 models at East Sea Park in My Khe beach will launch Da Nang’s Summer Destination Week on June 16^th, the city’s tourism department said.

The dance will start at 5.30pm on June 16 before a parade of 12 trucks decorated with flowers will wind along the main streets of the city from 8.30pm to 9pm.

The department said a series of performances, street music, food courts, a coracle installation, beer festival and paragliding will be held from June 16^th-26^th.

DJ Lucy and DJ Hoaprox will play at Fun Beach in front of Holiday Beach resort and hotel on Vo Nguyen Giap Street on June 17^th. The resort also offers free outdoor film screening on beach from 6pm to 11pm on June 18^th featuring, Owl and the Sparrow, Baywatch and others.

A yoga festival will be held on My Khe beach from 5.30am to 8.30am, while paragliders will fly from Ban Co Mount, at 673m above sea level to land on the beach of Da Nang on June 16^th-18^th.

Kite fliers from Ho Chi Minh City, Vung Tau, Quang Nam Province and locals will demonstrate their kites on the beach in the afternoon on June 16^th-18^th.

A coracle paddling contest will be also held on My Khe beach along with a photo exhibition, cuisine and souvenir shops at East Sea Park./,
