NA Vice Chairwoman attends Spring programme in Son La
National Assembly (NA) Vice Chairwoman Tong Thi Phong attended a cultural and sports programme in Son La city on February 17, to welcome the new spring, on the second day of the first lunar month.

In his opening speech, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Ngoc Diep briefed the NA leader on the significant achievements of Son La province in 2017.
Accordingly, the province collected VND 500 billion (US$21.9 million) for the State budget and made remarkable progress in reducing poverty, improving people’s living condition and developing infrastructure.
In 2018, the province has targeted for improvement of its business environment, fostering the agricultural sector, building new rural areas, and maintaining security stability and social order.
During the programme, NA Vice Chairwoman Phong joined the local leaders and ethnic groups in the province to enjoy traditional arts performances and participate in folk games./.
