Politburo member and National Assembly Vice Chairwoman Tong Thi Phong shared the joy of the great national solidarity festival with residents in Muong Lum commune, Yen Chau district.

The NA Chairwoman congratulated the district on its achievements over the past years, attributing the successes to the leadership of all-level administrations and the active role of Vietnam Fatherland Front units in bringing solidarity and unanimity into play in the entire Party and people.

The NA leader asked local administrations at all levels to work out solutions to continue promoting socio-economic development and people’s living standards.

On the same day, Politburo member and National Assembly Vice Chairwoman Tong Thi Phong met with voters Muong Lum Commune, Yen Chau District, to inform them of the results of the recently concluded National Assembly plenary session as well as to listen to their opinions and recommendations.

On the occasion, NA Vice Chairwoman and the NA delegation presented gifts to policy beneficiaries in Muong Luc Commune; donated VND50 million to the study encouragement fund of Muong Luong Commune and VND100 million to the study encouragement fund of Yen Chau District; and provided warm clothing for 436 pupils of primary and secondary schools in Muong Luong Commune.

Also on November 22, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee (PCC) and Head of the PCC Organisation Commission Pham Minh Chinh held a meeting with voters from Quang Yen Commune, in the northern province of Quang Ninh, to inform them of the outcomes of the recently concluded 14th National Assembly's 10th meeting.
