Hotline of the “500-day campaign” searching for, recovering, and identifying the remains of martyrs at 18008022 and 0965.001.222 is becoming a channel to directly receive information, connect martyrs’ relatives, martyrs, veterans, people, and competent authorities during the process of searching for and recovering martyrs’ remains.

From June 15 to August 12, 2026, the call center and digital platform of the Campaign received a large amount of information from martyrs’ relatives, veterans, and people. After being received, the information is categorized, numbered, consolidated, standardized, and transmitted to agencies and units with reviewing, comparison, and identification.

Among these, the call center received a total of 39,600 calls. This is one of the most important channels to directly receive information related to the demand for searching for martyrs’ graves, information on martyrs' burial places, as well as guiding relatives to do related procedures.

In detail, there were 13,210 calls from martyrs’ relatives having the need to find the martyrs’ graves. Besides, 1,800 phone calls were made by veterans and people to provide information on martyrs’ buried place, and through those receiving around 500 information sources about martyrs’ graves.

The hotline also received 2,500 calls requesting guidance on procedures for biological sampling and DNA testing for relatives of fallen soldiers. More than 10,000 other calls were also made to ask for advice on policies for meritorious people to the nation, policies related to martyrs’ graves, searching procedures, information on the Campaign, and other content.

These numbers demonstrate the hotline’s role as a direct bridge between information from family, partners, people, and competent authorities, contributing to expanding information to search for, recover, and identify martyrs’ remains.

Receiving more than 6,000 paper dossiers from relatives

Besides the hotline, the Military Broadcasting Center also received more than 6,000 paper dossiers submitted by relatives seeking assistance in locating martyrs’ graves.

The dossiers were classified, digitised and compiled for review, cross-checking and verification. Relevant information was also transferred to competent agencies and units according to locality for coordinated handling.

Through Zalo, Zalo OA and other digital platforms, “500-day Campaign” also received nearly 1,000 sources of information, mainly related to martyrs, martyrs’ graves, and the demand to search for martyrs from their relatives.

Organising many receiving channels helps information from relatives, veterans, and people be gathered in many forms, then categorized, standardized, and transmitted to authorities to identify.

Alongside the hotline, the campaign has established and managed a “500-day Campaign” group to connect relatives of martyrs with people who possess relevant information or experience in supporting search efforts.

To date, the group has recorded 3,499 posts, more than 1.1 million views, 11,539 comments, 58,179 reactions and 16,500 members.

Through the hotline and places receiving information, forces implementing the Campaign have received and coordinated with Da Nang City Military Command to identify the information in Da Sap Cave - Da Nang and find 9 sets of martyrs’ remains; information on Cau Lau documents - Da Nang helped to find 3 martyrs. Besides, from received information, there were many cases where family and relatives found martyrs’ graves.

Communication activities on digital platforms have also broadened the campaign’s reach and encouraged participation from relatives of fallen soldiers, war veterans and the public, thereby generating additional sources of information for the search, recovery and identification of martyrs’ remains.
