Olympics 2016 qualifiers got bonues from Vietnam Gymnastics Federation
(VNF) - The Vietnam Gymnastics Federation visited the national Gymnastics squad at Hanoi-based Sports Training Centre on July 19th, offered bonuses to athletes who qualified for the upcoming Olympics 2016.
Accordingly, the two players, Hai Phong city-origin Phan Thi Ha Thanh (25) and Hanoi-origin Pham Phuoc Hung (28), each received VND20 million in cash bonus. They had demonstrated impressive performances by earning two places at the world event this August, after the participation in the 2012 Summer Olympics, London.
Ha Thanh and Phuoc Hung successfully competed at the pre-Olympics 2016 event in Rio De Janeiro from April 12th-19th.
The bonus will strongly encourage athletes in the race to conquer their new high-record peaks.
Ms Nguyen Kim Lan, Vice head cum Secretary General of the Vietnam Gymnastics Federation, said that the Federation is always trying its best to create favourable conditions for Vietnamese players in training and competition.
In the future, by actively seeking more sponsors, the Vietnam Gymnastics Federation has planned to set up a Foundation to offer bonuses and support outstanding athletes in the national squads of gymnastics, artistic, Aerobic and sports dance./.
