Olympics 2016: Vietnam’s Taekwondo totally lost race
(VNF) - During the qualifying round of Asia hosted by the Philippines on April 17th, all three Vietnamese Taekwondo players failed to reach a berth at the upcoming Olympics 2016.
(VNF) - During the qualifying round of Asia hosted by the Philippines on April 17th, all three Vietnamese Taekwondo players failed to reach a berth at the upcoming Olympics 2016.
The hope for Vietnam came to Ha Thi Nguyen, Nguyen Van Duy and Phan Trung Duc, after the loss of Truong Thi Kim Tuyen (in the women’s under 49kg) on April 16th.

Meanwhile, in the men’s 68kg event, Phan Trung Duc , 22, failed in the 1/16 qualifying round after losing 2-0 to SILA-ON.Peerathep, also 22, from Thailand.
In the men’s 58kg event, Nguyen Van Duy 21 from Ho Chi Minh city also lost 5-6 with a “golden point” in the additional round to Hamad Mabrouk S ALMABROUK from Saudi Arabia in the 1/16 qualifying round.
In the final, Vietnam’s Taekwondo totally lost the race to Olympics 2016 as the new regulation allowing only two players in the final game to travel to Brazil./.
