Peruvian cuisine week running for first time in Hanoi
(VNF)- The Embassy of Peru in Vietnam has hosted a Peruvian Cuisine Week for the first time in Vietnam as part of the activities to celebrate the 21th anniversary of Vietnam-Peru diplomatic ties (1994-2015).

The cuisine week, going on from Monday to Friday at the Hilton Hanoi Opera Hotel, aims to promote Peru’s culture and gastronomy to Vietnamese people.
At the event, two Peruvian chefs from the Hilton Lima Hotel will share their experience and tips on making traditional delicacies.
A workshop to introduce two Peruvian functional food, maca and quinoa, will also be held as a sideline highlight, according to Jose Luis, an expert from the Peruvian Ministry of Agriculture.
Peruvian Charge d’affaires Luis Tsuboyama told a press conference on Monday that the bilateral ties between Vietnam and Peru have bloomed in politics, economics, investment and trade over recent years.
He also affirmed that Peru will further create auspicious conditions for Vietnamese businesses to thrive in the country./.
