Quang Ngai province: Over VND191 billion in support of offshore fishermen
Since the beginning of this year, the central province of Quang Ngai has given support worth over VND191 billion to fishermen who work offshore.

The support aims to realize the Prime Minister’s Decision 48 on policies encouraging and assisting aquaculture and fisheries exploitation services offshore.
Most recently, 381 fishing vessels of Ly Son, Binh Son and Duc Pho districts and Quang Ngai city were assisted with fuel with a capital of over VND42.5 billion, while VND1.5 billion was provided for 59 others to buy contact devices.
The Chairperson of the Quang Ngai provincial People’s Committee asked the provincial Department of Finance to transfer the money through the Vietnam State Treasury at the district level to allocate to the fishermen./.
