The Quang Ngai province’s Public Security Party Committee on August 11th opened its 21st Congress in the 2015-2020 term.

Secretary of the provincial Party Committee cum Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Le Viet Chu, Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee cum Chairman of the provincial People’s Council Tran Ngoc Cang, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Tran Van Minh, Vice Chairmen of the provincial People’s Committee Le Quang Thich, Pham Nhu So and 184 delegates representing for more than 856 Party’s members attended the Congress.

Speaking at the Congress, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Le Viet Chu acknowledged and praised the achievements gained by the provincial Public Security in the past term, contributing to maintaining political security, social order and safety in the area, creating a stable environment, promoting socio-economic development of the province.

Chu asked the Congress’s participants to focus on analyzing and clarifying the objective and subjective reasons in order to effectively overcome the limitations and shortcomings in the past term, as well as draw lessons learned and experiences for this term.

During the past term, the Party Committee of Quang Ngai Provincial Public Security has promoted the spirit of solidarity, striving to overcome many difficulties and challenges, successfully completing the set targets. Thus, the political security, social order and safety are guaranteed, contributing to the successful implementation of the local socio-economic development objectives and tasks.

In the term of 2015-2020, the Party Committee of Quang Ngai Provincial Public Security continues to actively consult with the provincial Party Committee, People’s Committee to direct the departments, levels and organizations in implementing effectively the Directives, Resolutions of the Party and the State on the work of ensuring security and order in the province./.
