The event is jointly held by the world-renowned Imperial Porcelain Factory, (St Petersburg, Russia), the Gazprom group, the Vietnam National Museum of History and the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Hanoi. It is also one of the event to celebrate the Vietnam-Russia and Russia-Vietnam year.
At the exhibition, over 30 porcelain products manufactured by the Imperial Porcelain Factory are introduced to visitors, arranged in various categories, featuring the traditional beauty of Russian porcelain. According to Ambassador of Russia to Vietnam Konstantin Vnukov, the porcelain collection being displayed are distinguished products, with a high level of sophistication and transparency. The exhibition also feature installation arts displayed by contemporary artists.
Specially, the exhibition space is designed as a harmonious combination of music and motion pictures, bringing to visitors an authentic taste of Russian culture.
In addition to Russian porcelain, the exhibition also features the Nguyen dynasty’s ceramic antiques, which are conserved in Vietnam National Museum of History.
Together with the exhibition, there are also a variety of educational programme, such as: presentation on the arts and culture of Russia, poircelain design sketch competition, etc.
