Oscar-winning actor Tom Hanks and his wife, actress Rita Wilson, are in hospital in Australia after testing positive for coronavirus, the US actor said Wednesday (Mar 11).

Europe's biggest outbreak is in Italy with some 283 infections - from just three before Friday - and seven dead while Croatia, Austria and Switzerland all reported cases of the new coronavirus (COVID-19) on Tuesday (Feb 25).
