The meeting was held on April 21 at the Do Temple historical relic site in the northern province of Bac Ninh, cited the World and Vietnam Report.
Madam Le Thi Bich Tran Spouse of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, hosted the event. Vu Thi Bich Ngoc, Spouse of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son, Honorary Chairwoman of the AWCH, many female Ambassadors, Spouses of ambassadors, and representatives from ASEAN Embassies in Hanoi participated.
The delegation offered incense at the main altar at the Do Temple. The delegation learned about the history of the temple and the altars dedicated to the eight kings of the Ly Dynasty.

Within the cultural and historical space of the temple, Spouse Tran and the participants engaged in unique experiential activities. With the instruction of the artisans, they made Dong Ho folk paintings and created "phu the" cakes. There were performances of UNESCO-recognized Quan ho (love duet) folk songs.
Vu Thi Bich Ngoc, Spouse of Deputy Prime Minister, said at the event that the group’s overarching goal is to create a bridge connecting women from ASEAN countries and their partner nations.
The works of AWCH significantly contribute to promoting the cultural beauty of member countries, showcasing local potential, and organizing various charitable activities to support disadvantaged people in Vietnam. On the other hand, Akiko Morioka, Spouse of the Malaysian Ambassador to Vietnam, said that this is her first visit to Bac Ninh and she appreciates the beauty of this land and its people.
Praising the activities of the AWCH, Madam Le Thi Bich Tran emphasized the indispensable contributions of women to the development journey of ASEAN and Vietnam and hoped to continue working with the group to further promote the uniqueness and diversity of ASEAN cultures.
