On July 28, the Ho Chi Minh City Union of Friendship Organizations, in coordination with partners, organized a 72nd anniversary celebration of Cuba’s Moncada Barracks attack (26/7/1953-26/7/2025). At the event, a campaign to build solar power systems for primary schools in Cuba, themed “Sunshine without borders,” was launched.

During the period 2023-2028, the Vietnam – Cuba Friendship Association's chapter in Ho Chi Minh City will focus on promoting and introducing the country and people of Cuba to all walks of life, especially the younger generation, about the importance of bilateral relations in the new situation.
