Naval Region 2 Command, in coordination with the Election Committee of Long Son Commune, held a ceremony to welcome the early voting team at sea back to the mainland after 15 days of carrying out their mission of delivering ballot boxes to voters at DK1 platforms, duty ships and fishermen operating on the southern continental shelf of the country. The event took place on the morning of March 12 in Phuoc Thang Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.

Naval Region 2 Command held early voting at the port and saw off delegations tasked with conducting early voting for deputies to the 16th National Assembly and deputies to the 11th Ho Chi Minh City People’s Council for the 2026-2031 term for forces performing duties at sea.

Early voting took place on some remote constituencies localities from the seas and islands to the border areas, a few days ahead of the election day May 23.
