According to the Hai Phong Union of Friendship Organizations, 100 wheelchairs sponsored by two US non-governmental organizations have been donated to disadvantaged persons with disabilities in An Hai Ward and Phu Lien Ward (Hai Phong City), helping support their mobility and daily activities.

With more than 20 years of close engagement with Vietnamese children, Robert Kalatschan (Founder and President of Giving It Back to Kids - GIBTK, United States) believes that in the new phase of development, Vietnam needs to continue prioritizing children, especially those in vulnerable circumstances. He regards this as a crucial foundation for ensuring sustainable development and leaving no one behind.

The US’s Giving it Back to Kids organization will present scholarships for disabled people who use wheelchairs in Thanh Hoa province.

748 wheelchairs were presented to people with disabilities in Quang Binh on November 14.
