The Naval Region 4 Command, in coordination with local Party committees and authorities of Bac Ai and Bac Ai Tay communes of Khanh Hoa Province, held a ceremony to inaugurate and hand over four newly built houses to families whose parents participated in the resistance war and were exposed to Agent Orange on the afternoon of July 7.

The Naval Region 4 Command held a ceremony to inaugurate and hand over a house to the family of Cao Ca Yen, a Raglai ethnic minority resident of Ta Giang 2 Hamlet, Tay Khanh Son Commune, on December 22. This is the first house completed after 17 days of urgent construction under the “Quang Trung Campaign”.

On the morning of August 4, in Bac Cam Ranh Ward, Khanh Hoa Province, Naval Region 4 Command held a ceremony to deliver hundreds of handwritten letters from students at Van Bao Primary School (Hanoi) to officers, soldiers, and residents of the Truong Sa special zone.

Residents at the Phuoc Hoi fishing port in Phuoc Hoi ward, La Gi town, the south-central province of Binh Thuan, received free medical checkups and drugs under a programme held by the Naval Region 4 High Command.

Together with the whole country, Khanh Hoa's army and people are determined to develop and build Truong Sa (Spratly) island district to be the economic, cultural and social center of the country at sea, a solid fortress protecting the sovereignty of the national sea and islands. Khanh Hoa focuses on developing Truong Sa to be greener and more beautiful in terms of landscape and environment.
