During meetings with a delegation from the French National Assembly's Defense and Armed Forces Committee on June 2, leaders of Vietnam's National Assembly and Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized the need to strengthen parliamentary cooperation, advance strategic areas of collaboration, and make defense-security cooperation a key pillar of bilateral relations.

NA Chairman Tran Thanh Man hailed the achievements in parliamentary collaboration since the signing of the cooperation agreement in 2017, including frequent exchanges of delegations, dialogues, effective activities of the parliamentary friendship groups, as well as close coordination at multilateral parliamentary forums.
