Digital transformation is a notable new feature in preparations for the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term. The use of the National Population Database, electronic identification applications and artificial intelligence not only improves management efficiency but also helps ensure that election day truly becomes a nationwide civic event.

On March 8, the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order (C06) under the Ministry of Public Security announced that, in addition to checking polling station information on voter cards and the publicly posted lists at polling stations or commune-level People’s Committee offices, citizens can also access election-related information through the “Election of the 16th National Assembly” feature on the VNeID application.
