In 2024, the Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam-Cambodia Friendship Association (the Association) made significant strides with numerous people-to-people diplomatic initiatives and social programs imbued with profound humanitarian values. These activities not only strengthened the Vietnam-Cambodia friendship but also enhanced the Association’s reputation and role within the city.

The successful 71st joint patrol between the navy force of Vietnam and Cambodia helps to maintain security and order in the historic waters of the two sides.

The two sides agreed to coordinate to organize the Vietnamese Culture Week in Cambodia in 2024 and 2026, and the Cambodian Culture Week in Vietnam in 2023 and 2025.
