Zhi Shan Foundation Supports Libraries and Books for Quang Ngai Students

According to the agreement, Zhi Shan Foundation will sponsor equipment for four friendly libraries and one toy library at five schools in the districts of Son Tinh, Tu Nghia, and the town of Duc Pho, with a total committed budget of VND 663 million. The local authorities will contribute approximately VND 200 million to effectively implement the program.

Additionally, Zhi Shan Foundation will donate books to help establish 128 classroom bookshelves at eight primary and secondary schools in Duc Pho town and Tra Bong district. The total implementation cost is VND 256 million, of which Zhi Shan will fund VND 194 million, with the remainder covered by the schools.
Deputy Head of the Department of Education and Training of Duc Pho town Le Thi Diem shared that Zhi Shan Foundation's support goes beyond material value—it carries profound social significance. The supported schools not only receive books and library equipment but are also guided on how to organize effective reading activities that spark students' interest in reading.
Since 2020, through the Quang Ngai Children's Protection Fund, Zhi Shan Foundation has sponsored the construction of 11 school libraries and supported nearly 650 classroom bookshelves, offering a total of approximately 26,000 book titles to students throughout the province.

These persistent and heartfelt contributions have significantly helped promote a strong reading culture, foster a love of learning, and improve educational quality for the younger generation.
