
Police sell watermelons to help people in Bac Giang blockade areas

On May 30, dozens of policemen of Yen Dung district and other forces went down to the fields to harvest nearly 3 tons of watermelons and transport them for consumption to help people quarantined against the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Embassy of the State of Qatar in Hanoi has provided much needed relief for farmers in Vietnam’s central region by purchasing four tonnes of un-consumed watermelon due to the impact of acute respiratory disease caused by the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV), announced the embassy on Monday (Feb 10).
