Travelling to Panama through beautiful photographs
(VNF) - Showcasing nearly 30 photographs, the exhibition entitled “Visit Panama” impresses viewers with not only the beauty of the Panama Canal but also green tropical forests, romantic beaches and charming islands with the persified culture.

The exhibition is one of the activities to celebrate the 114th anniversary of the National Day of the Republic of Panama (November 3rd, 1903 - 2017) and the 15th anniversary of the establishment of the Spanish Department of the Hanoi University which was co-organised by the Embassy of the Republic of Panama in Vietnam and Hanoi University.
Imprints of the exhibition are photos of wonderful destinations in Panama, namely the Panama old street area, the Catholic Church’s Square, San Blas Island and floating houses on the Bocas del Toro Archipelago that provided the viewers an opportunity to learn more the country’s distinctive culture.

Addressing the opening ceremony of the exhibition, Ambassador of the Republic of Panama in Vietnam Servio Sammodio stressed that the “Visit Panama” exhibition actively promotes cultural exchange, tightens friendship and a good relationship between the two countries in the future and helps visitors understand more about its perse yet integrated cultural identities and the dynamic nature of the country, as well as being a central trade centre in Latin America and the Caribbean hospitable and friendly people and peaceful landscapes.
For his part, Nguyen Dinh Luan, Rector of Hanoi University emphasised that his university is honored to join hands with the Embassy of the Republic of Panama to organise this small yet meaningful exhibition. He hoped that the exhibition would give Hanoian people and especially young students a more specific view of the beautiful country of Panama, a dynamic and integrated country which was one of the commercial centres in Latin America and the Caribbean. It also is a wonderful country with friendly and easy-going people.

The exhibition will be on display until December 1st at Building C, Hanoi University (Km 9, Nguyễn Trãi Str., Thanh Xuan Dist, Hanoi)./.
