Vietnam, China hold first deputy minister-level security dialogue
Vietnam and China held the first deputy minister-level security dialogue in Hanoi on July 30.
The dialogue is the result of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong’s visit to China in April 2015.
It demonstrates the willingness to boost cooperation between the Vietnam Ministry of Public Security and the China Ministry of State Security, contributing to maintaining political stability and the national security of each country.

Deputy Minister of the Vietnam Ministry of Public Security To Lam said the relationship between the two ministries has grown continuously.
He said the two sides have been making efforts to build a relationship in line with long-term basic benefits of the two peoples, making security a pillar in the ties between the two countries.
China’s Deputy Minister of State Security Dong Haizhou said the dialogue was an important step in the relationship between the two sides and believed it would achieve results to bring the comprehensive strategic partnership to a new height.
At the dialogue, the two sides discussed and assessed share issues and put forward measures to promote cooperation./.
