The conference reviewed the Vietnam Peace Committee's performance during the first half of 2026 and outlined its key priorities and tasks for the remaining six months of the year. Participants also exchanged views on the progress of preparations for the 2026-2031 Congress and reached consensus on matters related to its organization.
One of the conference's key agenda items was a review of the documentation to be presented at the Congress. Participants also considered publications planned for release on the occasion of the Congress, including a video clip, a book, and several other communication materials, while discussing related issues to ensure that all preparatory work is carried out in a coordinated and effective manner.
Duong Thi Nga presented the mid-year report on the Committee's activities during the first six months of 2026, outlined its work plan for the second half of the year, and reported on matters related to the progress of preparations for the Congress.
According to Uong Chu Luu, President of the Vietnam Peace Committee, the conference provided an opportunity for the Committee to comprehensively review its achievements during the first half of 2026 while examining and reaching consensus on key issues, thereby contributing to thorough preparations for the 2026-2031 Congress in accordance with the established plan.
