From September 27 to October 6, the ship, led by Deputy Commander of Naval Region 4 Colonel Le Hong Chien, will visit Yokosuka base and Sakai city of Osaka prefecture on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of Vietnan-Japan diplomatic ties.
The activity is part of implementing the two countries’ joint vision statement on defence cooperation for 2017-2022.
The ship will take part in an International Fleet Review at a naval base in Jeju in the Republic of Korea from October 10-15 to realise the two Defence Ministries’ joint vision statement on defence cooperation to 2030 and learn from experience in organising the event.
These activities are expected to help tighten friendship and improve coordination at sea between the Vietnam Navy and the navies of China, Japan and the Republic of Korea./.
